• We accept most dental plans and also a preferred provider for several plans.
    • We don’t participate in any dental capitation plans (such as DeltaCare) because program restrictions prevent us from providing quality care. However, we do see a number of patients who have capitation plans who are in the process of leaving their capitation plan (and clinics) because they find the care provided under at capitation clinics to be less than desirable.
    • We don’t accept new patients with DSHS and WA Basic Health Plan coverage.
      • These government welfare care programs frequently pay less than 50% the cost of regular care so we must significantly limit the number of patients on these plans that our clinic can see so we can continue to provide affordable care to all of our patients.
      • These government plans are also full of restrictions that prevent the Clinic from providing quality care for both children and adults.
      • If you are on DSHS, you supposedly DO NOT have the money to pay for additional care and may be required to limit your care to that which DSHS chooses to pay for. Kind of stupid, but then this is the sort of quality care you can expect from taxpayer supported programs. Many taxpayers don’t have much money to pay for their own care, let along pay higher and higher taxes to provide for an increasingly large population who qualify for welfare care.
  • FYI, the typical dental insurance company makes up to 15% on the premiums your employer pays into your plan.
  • If you take good care of your teeth and gums, with regular checkups and few dental problems, it may actually be less expensive in the long run to pay for your care out of pocket and get the money paid for your employer dental insurance added to your take home paycheck!
  • 1800 Dentist — no free lunch…
    • Hey, this well known program costs almost $100 or more per new patient that this program provides to a clinic. Which requires fees to be sneaked up $100 or more elsewhere to make up for it. So we are not a 1800 Dentist participant.
  • One Time Freebies
    • Yes, we could offer free toothbrushes, free teeth whitening, and other catchy one time deals. But that would require us to charge you more on other stuff to make up for the giveaways.
    • Get real! Affordable caring dentistry isn’t about one time giveaways — it’s about a quality long term relationship with a knowledgeable honest quality oriented dentist such as Dr Fred and his experienced caring staff.
    • We have been known to occasionally provide free whitening kits, tooth brushes and other bonuses to good patients who refer their acquaintances to us.
