Our family heritage is full of history of being pioneers of one sort or another. This is not so unusual -- anyone visiting this homestead has the heritage of a survivor and pioneer of one sort or another. Like some, I am most at home walking the wilderness trails from a base camp I call Camp Leave It Better than you Found It. Other times I am happy just hacking around the yard.
